BIST Tip: Rethinks
“Rethinks” are quick time outs to help students refocus and get back on track. When a child is off task, they are asked to put their head down and hide their eyes. The child must be able to identify what got them into trouble in the first place, make a plan of what they can do differently next time, and then demonstrate the appropriate classroom behavior. When the student has finished a “rethink,” they let the adult know by giving a thumbs-up signal.
No Study Island This Week!
Multiplication- We are working on 8’s this week!
