Reading:
We are continuing a new unit in Lead 21 about science and how it helps us have
fun! We are learning about force, energy and technology. We are also working on the comprehensions
skills: summarize, contractions, and
Writer’s Workshop: This week we will continue working
through our Candy Bar Story. We will finish drafting and begin revising.
Math:
We will continue working with “bits, skinnies, and flats” as we work on place
value this week. We will work on addition with base ten pieces and also telling
time.
Science:
This week we will continue our unit on Force and Motion. The students will
learn about simple machines, work, and rules of motion.
