Weekly News

January 21-25

Reading: We are continuing Unit 4 in our Lead 21 curriculum. We are studying about what is beneath Earth’s surface. We are also working on categorize and classify, visualizing, and similes.  

Math: We will continue to work on division and multiplication facts and strategies. We are also working on additional math skills and test preparation skills. The students will be taking the Kansas State Assessments beginning next month, so we are trying to introduce them to the tools and software that they will be using for the assessments.

Social Studies: We are continuing our tour of the West Region this week. We will visit many exciting places and even plan a trip to Hawaii! The students will need to study the states and capitals. The test will be on WEDNESDAY JANUARY 30^TH.
