BIST Tip: I’m sorry!
It’s tough to say “I’m sorry!” even as adults.  Often times kids just go through the motions of saying “I’m sorry” to dismiss the problem.  It’s important that we help kids understand the meaning of an apology is to mend the relationship. True change occurs when kids can make a plan for what they will do differently.
