Reading:
This week we are reading the story Scaredy
Squirrel. We are working on the skills determining important information,
author’s purpose and prefixes that mean not.
Writer’s Workshop: We are responding to reading in our writing.
We are making text to self connections and writing about those!
Math:
This week we are working on number sense with money and will begin Unit 3. We
will work on collecting data, graphing, and multiplication word problems.
Science:
This week we are continuing our unit on Matter. We will work on an experiment
with Gummy Bears and Gobstoppers.
Important Dates:
Friday 9/21- CATWALK!
Math Facts This Week: Work on multiplication five’s and two’s.
