Reading:
This week we are continuing to read the story Scaredy Squirrel. We are working on the skills determining
important information, author’s purpose and prefixes that mean not.
Writer’s Workshop: This week we will begin working through
the writing process on our Candy Bar Story. We will begin with prewriting and
drafting.
Math:
We are into Unit 3 now on Multiplication. We are really working hard on the
concept of multiplication and not just memorizing the facts. We will also work
on multiplication story problems this week.
Science:
This week we are continuing our unit on Matter. We will have the students
rotate to all three classrooms for three different matter experiments this
week!
